Hello and Welcome. My name is Ms. Schwartz and I'll be your English teacher this semester. Unless, of course, you're in Mrs. Rysyk-Munro's class, in which case I won't be your English teacher, but hey... you can't have everything! (j/k)
This post is just to make sure you all know how to access and post to this blog.
If you're reading this post, I want you to post a comment to let me know you *can* post a comment.
So...
Answer the following question for me in no more than 3 sentences, please:
If you were an animal, what kind of animal would you be and why?
(It may be a lame question, but it's my question, and I'm asking it.)

If I were an animal, I would be a monarch butterfly. Monarch butterflies are brightly coloured and very beautiful and look harmless but they are actually poisonous. I would be a monarch butterfly because I also seem to be harmless but if someone gives me trouble, I can be very deadly as well.
If I were an animal, I would be an owl. I would be nocturnal, because I prefer night to day. I would also have the ability to fly, allowing me to travel to different places without the cost of airline tickets. I'd also be able to rotate my head which would be so cool.
If I were an animal, I would be a dolphin because dolphins are very friendly and playful animals(and I'm also friendly, so it all works out!). Also, dolphins are extremely intelligent, with their own method of communication that still baffles scientists, and are very protective (they have been known to protect swimmers from sharks!).
If I were an animal, I would choose to be a Timber Wolf. Timber Wolves have been my favourite animal since I was a child living in Calgary Alberta. I love their ability to do their job in a team. I have always been involved in team sports so I feel a link towards the Timber Wolf. I also love the colours of their fur and stealthy personality. (Lame I know...)
If I were an animal, I would be a cheetah. The Cheetah is the world's fastest land mammal, and is the most unique member of the cat family. It would be nice to be a cheetah because it is so fast that only one foot at a time touches the ground as it runs.
I would be a lion, because it would display my strong personality and willingness to offer leadership, strength and loyalty. As a "lion personality" I tend to protect my independence, it can be difficult to get me to talk about personal issues, but when it comes to matters of the world, I love a challenging debate.
If I were an animal, I would be a horse, because horses are loyal and I am loyal to my friends. Also a horse stays strong, even though sometimes it's subjected to lots of stress, and hard work. When I face a challenging situation, I tend to stay strong and I don't give up very easily.
If I were an animal, I'd be a monkey, why? I'm not sure, maybe because I love monkeys, I really don't know. But why not love and experience being something that you once were centuries ago...? Experience. That's the first thing that comes to mind when I mention "Monkey." At least to me it does.
If I were an animal, I would like to be a dolphin because swimming has been one of my favorite activties for some time now. Also, the marine life has always fascinated me.
If I was asked to be an animal, I would like to be a Zebra.Zebra is a fun loving animal who is always found in herds. Zebra is shy and non-violent. And same is the case with me . I like to be with my friends all the time and Iam very cool tempered guy. So that is why I chose to be a Zebra.
If I were an animal I would be a dolphin. Jumping, playing and swimming in the ocean would be a fun and perfect life for me. Dolphins are also highly intelligent with superior hearing abilities, another reason that makes this animal amazing.
if i were to choose to be animal, I would choose to be a horse. Horses are cheerful, skillful with money, and perceptive, although they sometimes talk too much. They are wise, talented, good with their hands. In addition, they are impatient, hot-blooded, independent, and rarely listen to advice. The reason i choose this is because i am impatient, hot-blooded and on the other side wise, talented, good with my hands, and rarely listen to advice.
If I were to be an animal, I would be a lion; known to be at the peak of natures hierarchy: The King of The Jungle. The lion is commonly referred to as a symbol, representing many attributes such as leadership, pride, and power. In saying this, I do not claim to already possess all three attributes, but I do in fact intend to if I do not.
If I were an animal, I would be a parrot because I would have the ability to fly which would give me freedom to be in any place at any time I want. I would be a parrot because I would also be able to talk human language even though I am not a human, which I think is pretty cool!
If I were an animal, I would be a monkey, chimpanzee to be specific. The reason why I would become a monkey is because monkeys are generally more intelligent compared to the rest of the animal kingdom. Because of their intellect they can easily defeat any other animal if it comes down to it, apart from humans. Additionally monkeys are agile and I suppose it would be fun to swing from tree to tree.
I believe I resemble a honey bee. This insect is a rather social being where the females of this specie hold the most power. They are the protectors, possessing the ability to sting when their paths are crossed ever so impolitely. I, more often than none, do leave my predators with that popular sting which I am sure many can vouch for. The honey bee is in constant search and desire for the sweeter things in life. Similarly, I am in that constant search.
If I were an animal, I would be a lion. Lions are known to be courageous, powerful, and the leader of the group. With few weaknesses, the lion roars with independence and pride, letting others knows where they stand. I feel that I possess some of the same attributes as the lion, for example, loyalty, confidence and natural leadership.
If I were an animal, I would be a liger, which is a crossbreed between a lion and a tiger. A liger is my favourite animal because I share many characteristics with it. I am very protective of my family like a lion is with its cubs and intelligent and powerful like a tiger.
If I were an animal, I would be an eagle. Eagles are both quick and powerful, live high above other creatures and are also used in several nation's coat of arms. Similarly, i would like to "soar above others" and be well-respected.
Since you're making us pick an animal, I'd want to be an eagle. Why? I'm not really sure. Maybe, it's just because I envy their graceful flight, and their ability to view the world from atop. I also wouldn't mind being on top of nature's food chain.
If I were an animal, I would be an eagle. Eagles symbolize strength and courage, which are characteristics everyone could benefit from. They also have the amazing ability to see extremely far and fly about rapidly and freely which makes them unique to any other animal; a uniqueness I also hope to possess distinguishing myself from others.
If I were an animal, I would be a dog (not in a bad way), because I think of dogs as being faithful, fun loving, quick learners and very smart animals. In some ways I share the same qualities as them because I am a person who is fun to be around, someone who is intelligent. Dogs for most people are perfect pets because of how cool and amazing they are in terms of their great communication skills and their good sense of smell.
If I could be an animal I would be an ant. I would want to be one because I want to know what it's like to do everything for Queen and colony. Also I want to see one ant colony taking over another.
If I could choose to be any animal, I would be a hamster. They have the life to live. They have food, fat droplets of water to drink, comfortable bedding, fun tubes to go through and an excercise wheel! They live a fun life and receive love!
If I were an animal, I would decide to the Peregrine Falcon. I would be the worlds fastest animal and have wings to fly anywhere I want. I would be the Peregrine Falcon because I would have the ability to fly and explore the earth.
If I were an animal, I would be a cheetah, as this particular wildcat is renowned for its supremacy at the crown of the food chain. The cheetah has garnered this title from its remarkable speed as a land mammal, which furthers its success in the hunt. Like the cheetah, I revel in the fast-paced lifestyle and attribute my successes and societal reputation to my abilities as an individual.
If I were an animal, I would be a cheetah, because I have always been fascinated by their amazing speed and ability to catch their prey. I would also relate myself to it, because I am very fast when I play sports, especially soccer, but don't think of me like some sort of mad kid on the soccer field running for his prey (the ball); i calculate my times and decide when to unleash my speed.
If I were an animal I would be a kitten. I would be a kitten because kittens are usually kept in houses and are used as bestfriends and people feel happy when they talk to kittens therefore by being a kitten I would probably make alot of people feel better about themselves, and that is what I enjoy to do I be happy when I make people happy. As well as kittens are very cute and cuddly. :)
If I were an animal I would be a wolf. Even though they can be aggressive and cruel, they are loyal to their family and friends and would risk their lives for those they care for. Wolves are also good leaders or followers because they are not afraid to go out on their own. Smart and strong,a wolf’s personality is one that I can relate to and I believe that it would be awesome to live as a wolf!
If I were an animal, I would be a dolphin. Dolphins are very unique mammals in the sense that they are very affectionate about being loyal. They are intelligent animals and are known to be very fast learners. Loyalty is very important to me since it defines the meaning of almost every relationship.
Ifi were to pick an animal, I would be a cat. Cats have nine lives and I find that quite interesting. I also love the color of their eyes! Being a cat is cool, I can fall from a high place and not die, i cna also hand on to curtians. I find that fun. hehe!
If I were an animal, I would be a butterfly. They're independant, colourful, and their free; creating their own path in where they want to go. I feel I possess these qualities becuase I'm independant, I don't relay on anyone.Im colourful, smiling always happy. Lastly I'm also creating my own path in life for where I want to go in the future.
If i were an animal i would be a blue bird. why? well blue bird's are known to be calm and peaceful animals that wouldn't harm anyone unless someone were to harm them or their loved one's. I believe i have the same qualities of a blue bird because i also am a very calm and peaceful person that wouldn't harm anyone unless someone were to harm me or the people i care for.
If I were an animal, I would be a bull. Since my star is Taurus which represents the characteristics of bull. Bulls are strong, stable, quiet, and calm looking animals. They are slow to anger but can become furiously mad. I think all of these qualities represent, who I am? a very strong and stable person who stands out in every difficult condition without any fear, also I am a calm and a quiet person (prefer to observe and think more rather than taking). And yes I am very very v slow to anger, but can fully loose my temper ( self control) when I am angry.
If I was an animal, I would be an eagle. Eagles have a very strong presence and symbolize strength and courage. They are the kings of the air, and I wouldn't mind being on top of the world "literaly".
If I were an animal, I would choose to be a black panther. They appear majestic creatures yet are the vicious predators of their environment. I for myself can't say I am a vicious predator but who wouldn't envy these black cats of the jungle. Also another reason is because they are the symbol of the 1960's civil rights movement, "Black Panthers".
If I were an animal, I would be a bee. Bees are working together very peaceful, not just like human. Hopefully, one day human can live together without hatred.
If I was an animal, I would be a wolf. Why? Because wolves are amazing creatures with wonderful abilities and heightened senses, such as seeing well with increased sharpness and clarity in both daylight and darkness, their amazing sense of smell, and their ability to climb, run and pad across great distances of all types. I also admire the fact that even though each wolf on its own can be an amazing hunter and creature, wolves always tend to choose to stick together like a family, as "pack" is a very important part of their lifestyle.
If I was an animal, i would be a tiger. Tigers usually present power and loyality, they are also the largest of the four "big cats", even though tigers may not be as powerful as a lion they still present a great role within the jungle.
If i were an animal, i would be a lion. I hold the characteritics of being a leader and being independant. A lion is known to be the king of the jungle, and i'm known to taking on huge tasks and getting them done with no help from anyone at all. I lead my self and im not afriad of anyone and thats why i think i would be a great lion.
If I were an animal, I would be a panda. Panda's are peaceful animals, they dont hunt which adds to their image of innocence. Panda's are known to attack humans when they have been irritated. Also they are very cute. I would be a panda because I am a peaceful person most of the time, but when people irritate me, I'll defend myself to some extent.
If I were an animal, I would be a monkey, because in ancient Chinese fairy story " Journey to the West", there was a brave, loyal, honest and intelligent monkey called monkey king. He learned many magic tricks such as transforming himeself into 72 images. I like this character, and want to be a man like him.
If I were an animal, I'd be a bumblebee. Physically attractive, yet have a superior role in the environment. I'd have the opportunity to see children run for their lives when they feel my presence. Being a bumblebee won't be an easy job, but I'm ready to "sting it" on.
If I were an animal, I would be a lion. Lions are magnificent animals that appear as a symbol of power, courage and nobility on family crests, coats of arms and national flags in many civilizations. Lions are the king of the jungle. Why well ever since I was I child I have been fascinated by their amazing ability to catch their prey.
If I were an animal, I would be a Royal Bengal Tiger. The main reason I chose this animal is because it is a representation of my country due to the origin of it, which is Bangladesh. Generally this tiger is very calm, but it also knows how to stand up to danger; which I believe to be one of my personality traits.
If I were to be an animal, I would choose to be a ladybug. I would be a ladybug because they are considered to bring good luck; they are harmless, helpful to farmers at least, and bright. All of these characteristics are also found in me and therefore I would love to be a ladybug.
If I can be an animal, I want to be a grass land wolf. I will enjoy the humanless area and running any direction I want to, the sweet sun shine and confortable breeze, basiclly I can have total freedom by being a grass land wolf.

If I were an animal, I would be a giraffe simply because they are tall. I am short. I always love the view when it's higher.
If I were an animal I would want to be a monkey. They say that monkeys are the closest animals to the human species. I think being a human and being able to do all the things that I am able to do i.e.; read, write, talk etc is a wonderful thing that many people take for granted. Monkeys are also very intelligent. So intelligent that some can even communicate with humans using sign language. So if I were unable to be human, I would want to be the next best and closest thing, which according to scientist is a monkey.
